KAS Rugs Opens Second Warehouse

KAS Rugs has opened a second warehouse in Georgia, adding 120,000 square feet to its total warehouse space.
The warehouse, located in Calhoun, Ga., takes the company’s total warehouse space to 231,000 square feet.
The two warehouses are adjacent and are connected via a passageway for ease of operation. The additional warehouse allows the company to fill orders more quickly and in most cases within 24 hours, the company said.
“We are looking forward to increase our operational capacity and make this investment in our operations as well as our customers,” said Rao Yarlagadda, president of KAS. “The additional warehouse will further our ability to service our customers in a timely manner as they have become accustomed to over the years. Our customers rely on us for quality control, customer dedication and timely delivery of products.”
The additional warehouse comes on the heels of a busy season of rebranding and expanded and remodeled showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas and High Point.
"KAS has worked closely with Bob Mackie Home and Donny Osmond Home to create lifestyle brands that include innovative and quality products," said Wendy Reiss, vice president of sales and national accounts. "Bob Mackie Home currently has a luxurious rug collection in the line and we are all set for another product launch coming up at High Point Market in October. Donny Osmond Home has three successful rug collections and corresponding pillows."
