Modenus Revamps Website

Modenus.com, an interior design resource, has re-launched its website.

Introduced initially to its online design communities and BlogTour network, Modenus 3.0 comprises improved capabilities and functionality, refined over five years of working with the design community. The site offers trade-only and consumer facing information and inspiration as well as options for posting public and private design portfolios and materials to digital pressrooms for brands.

“We’ve implemented the features we most frequently hear brands and design pros ask for,” said Veronika Miller, Modenus CEO. “Essentially, we’re putting the control of how images and business information is displayed back into the hands of their rightful owners and we’re letting brands set up their Modenus portal with rich information including images, videos and product documentation as well as adding trade specific information that is not visible to consumers. Finally, the new BrandFollow feature will allow site visitors to follow favorite brands and receive updates when changes are made, ensuring they have their ear on the pulse of the design world. Initial feedback is very positive.  Now, we’re looking forward to users leveraging all of the platform’s rich features.”

Interior designers, decorators, stylists, architects, showrooms and trades people can set up zip code searchable, customizable portfolios that can be made public or remain hidden for sharing with select people only, and design professionals and consumers can create unlimited project boards. Brands can add trade-only information such as special pricing or trade events as well as brochures, specifications and even videos complete with update notifications sent to their followers in a weekly digest with Modenus’ BrandFollow feature. Strict trade-only and commercial design brands can be completely hidden from consumer view, available for vetted design professionals to see.
