Style Spotters Ready for Fall High Point Market
The 2015 Style Spotters are gearing up for their second and final High Point Market as part of the trend-setting team.
Using what they learned at the Spring Market, the team is ready to scour the October Market looking for fabulous finds, spot the up-and-coming trends, and predict what they think we’ll see in the world of home furnishings going forward.
Kicking off their trend predictions, they’ll join forces Friday, Sept. 11, for a Google Hangout discussion of top picks from images submitted by High Point Market exhibitors for the New Product Premiere program. Hosted by the Interior Design Community, the discussion will be broadcast live at 4 p.m. Eastern from GooglePlus and YouTube. After the event concludes, the recorded video will be available for viewing through the High Point Market Authority’s You Tube Channel, as well as on the Interior Design Community’s website.
Style Spotter Emeritus, Michelle Jennings Wiebe, commented, “I’m already beginning to see a lot of excitement generating for Fall Market,” said Michelle Jennings Wiebe, Style Spotter emeritus. “I can’t wait to discuss the new product debuts with the other team members on the Google Hangout, and then finally get to see and touch the products in showrooms in October.”
During the Oct. 17-22 Market, the team will spot favorite finds with Style Spotters cards. These products are then placed on individual Pinterest boards and used as the focus of discussion at Style Spotters LIVE!, a panel discussion highlighting hot finds at Market. Scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m. in the IHFC ballroom, Style Spotters LIVE! will be immediately followed by several Style Spotters Trend Tours to showrooms. New for Fall, the Style Spotters program will team up with Crypton as its team sponsor. Crypton is stain-resistant fabric that has many applications in both indoor and outdoor areas, as well as business or personal spaces. For Market, they’ll be using the social media hashtag #HPmktCoveredinCryptonHome.
