Jane Seymour to Host 27th Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

Jane Seymour, award-winning actress, author, artist and designer, will host the 27th annual American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Induction Banquet on Oct. 18 during the Fall High Point Market.

“It is an honor to host this year’s Hall of Fame dinner and share the stories of this year’s esteemed recipients,” Seymour said. “I am truly moved by the amazing stories about the individuals that have shaped this industry. Through the years of my design collaborations, I have come to personally know many of our dealers and vendors, so this is particularly meaningful to me to play a role in honoring our new inductees and celebrating the industry in a totally new way.”

In addition to acting, Seymour operates a successful lifestyle furnishings brand. She first entered the home furnishings business with Saks Group in 2004. In 2008, she launched Jane Seymour Designs, a national lifestyle brand inspired by her homes, art and family-centered lifestyle.

Seymour partnered with AICO in 2009, debuting her first licensed furniture collection, Michael Amini & Jane Seymour, A Design Collaboration. Her other home furnishings products include licensed lighting for StyleCraft Home, custom framing for Fotiou and the Jane Seymour line of fine art and botanicals.

Five new inductees will be recognized for their exceptional leadership, accomplishments and contributions to the furniture industry at the October Hall of Fame gala. This year’s inductees to the Hall of Fame are Aminy Audi, CEO and chairman of L. & J.G. Stickley; Michael Massood, chairman of MGM Transport Corp.; Laurence Za Yu Moh, founder of Universal Furniture; and Barry Tatelman, former co-president and co-CEO of Jordan’s Furniture, and Eliot Tatleman, president and CEO of Jordan’s Furniture.

Morgan James, an American singer, songwriter and actress, will perform at the Hall of Fame event. She has appeared in many Broadway productions, including Motown The Musical, and her first studio album was released by Epic Records in November 2014.

Tickets are $250 for members and $300 for non-members. For more information on the banquet, to purchase tickets or become a sponsor, visit www.ExperiencethePower2015.com.
