The event will be held July 18 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The organization will also celebrate its 40th anniversary.

“Celebration is an evening dedicated to recognizing our industry’s best,” said Randy Fiser, ASID CEO. “Each of our honorees has made a significant contribution toward improving lives through design, and their remarkable work continues to advance our profession and impact communities across the country.”

For the 2015 student design “Touchdown” competition, ASID challenged design students to create a space within an airport that offers business travelers a private, comfortable, and secure place to work, connect, and recharge while en route to their destinations. Eighty-six students from 24 schools answered the challenge, with Heemyung Yang, Student ASID, selected as the winner.

Celebration will begin with a red carpet reception, followed by dinner, awards show, and after-party, including dessert, dancing, and tours of the art galleries. ASID members and non-members may purchase tickets or table packages, which include 10 tickets to the gala and a reserved VIP table at the dinner and awards show, through Friday, July 3. Tickets can be ordered online.

In addition, the ASID Foundation’s annual online auction will open July 13 and close at the end of Celebration at 10:30 p.m. (EST). The online auction is one of the Foundations’ largest fundraising initiatives, and all funds received support the important work of the Foundation. The auction will be 100 percent mobile and accessible to all event attendees, as well as anyone with an Internet connection.
