Dining Table Works with Wheelchairs

Case goods supplier Borkholder Furniture has created a dining table to easily accommodate wheelchair-bound people.

The Samantha table features hidden function allowing the tabletop to slide backward making room for a wheelchair to approach. The table’s legs and anything on the table remain in place.

Once the person in the wheelchair is in place, the tabletop slides forward to meet the chair’s occupant. The table eliminates the typical problem of leg room and chair room while dining.

Borkholder’s table can expand to accommodate 18 diners.
