Spring Air Lands Asian Retail Placement

Bedding supplier Spring Air has landed its first international, inter-country retail partner opening with product in more than 70 Courts stores throughout Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The deal was negotiated by Spring Air-Indonesia, Spring Air licensees in Singapore and Malaysia and Spring Air International.
“Last October, Spring Air products were placed in the 160,000-square-foot Courts store in Jakarta, Indonesia—the largest Courts location in Asia,” said Eric Spitzer, Spring Air COO. “Over the next 12 months, the objective is to enter as many Courts megastores as possible to establish strong and consistent brand awareness for Spring Air in these important Asian countries.”
Established in 1974 in Singapore, Courts expanded into Malaysia in 1987 and then Indonesia last year. The retailer sells furniture, bedding, appliances and consumer electronics.
