Summer Las Vegas Market to Host Design Camp

The Las Vegas Market  and Design Camp are partnering once again for a compelling presentation catered to the design community for Summer Market, August 2-6.

Led by celebrity interior designers Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis, Design Camp is a “boot camp” experience for designers – complete with a showroom tour day during market as well as a half day of special guest speakers led by local and national industry experts in the design field.

The complimentary summit will kick off with a welcome party cocktail reception on Tuesday, August 4 at the Four Hands Showroom, located on the first floor of Building A, from 5 to 6 p.m.

“We are thrilled to bring Design Camp and our guest speakers back to Las Vegas this summer – where it all started,” said Kelli Ellis, co-founder, Design Camp. “Lori and I had a phenomenally successful event last year, and can’t wait to share what we have going on for 2015.”

A key component of the programming roster in Las Vegas for three consecutive markets, the two-day seminar consistently draws hundreds of designers interested in learning from industry experts and networking with design peers. Moreover, Design Camp offers designers CEU credits for each hour of attendance and the opportunity to shop its sponsoring partners’ showrooms exhibiting at Las Vegas Market. Global Sponsors for the summer event include: Noir Furniture, Leftbank Art, Williams-Sonoma, Natuzzi, Lamps Plus and Jaipur Rugs.

“Our Campers will walk away with new connections, essential resources and pages of notes that will help them get to the top of their field,” Dennis said. “Additionally, Design Camp provides professional accreditation keeping our campers up-to-date on their continued education units.”

“As we expand our offering of better-end resources at Las Vegas Market, Design Camp is great forum to expose designers to those resources throughout our campus,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president for International Market Centers. “From a programming standpoint, Design Camp is a great complement to our roster. Lori and Kelli are pros, they keep the program lively and fun and provide tangible takeaways that designers can apply to current projects.”
