Decca USA Buys High Point Showroom

Decca USA, parent company to high-end furniture brands Bolier & Co. and Cosmopolitan by Dakota Jackson, has doubled its High Point showroom space with the purchase of 11,200 square feet.
The square footage represents the second floor of the building located at 311 N. Hamilton St., where the company has owned and exhibited on the third floor since 2004.
As owner of the newly acquired space, Decca USA signed a leasing agreement with The MT Company—parent of Miles Talbott and Michael Thomas—which plans to exhibit in the space during next April High Point Market. The MT Company and its furniture brands have previously exhibited in a freestanding building located at 1690 English Road in High Point.
“We are pleased with the expansion as we welcome The MT Company to the Hamilton/Wrenn Design District,” said Richard Herbst, president and CEO of Decca USA. “This area of High Point Market remains a stronghold in the high end and to-the-trade segments of the furniture business.”
Bolier & Co., which exhibits furniture designs by Michail Vanderbyl, John Black, Richard Mishaan and Michael Kirkpatrick, will continue to occupy and exhibit its products on the building’s third floor.
