La-Z-Boy Case Goods Group to Open New Showroom

2015 by in High Point, Market
The 75,000-square-foot showroom located in the Commerce wing of the International Home Furnishings Center features an open layout. The space will allow dealers, interior designers and other guests to move from Kincaid’s solid wood furniture and custom upholstery to Hammary’s occasional, home office and accent furniture and American Drew’s dining and bedroom offerings.
“Having access to such a broad range of complementary styles and choices is crucial for designers and retailers,” said Drew Sweeney, vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy case goods. “Combining the La-Z-Boy case goods brands under one roof creates a one-stop solution with products in the bedroom, dining room, occasional, home office, home entertainment and upholstery categories.”
The showroom also includes a dealer lounge where visitors can enjoy lunch, snacks, coffee, water and tea in a boutique-style setting with amenities such as charging stations and wireless access.
The space complements the product and style direction that has been the focus at Kincaid, Hammary and American Drew in the past several years.
“Our new showroom is a reflection of the imagination and creativity our design teams have invested into the products recently, and we’re excited about the unveiling,” said Steve Kincaid, president of La-Z-Boy case goods. “Each of our brands has made transformative changes to reflect the styles desired by today’s consumer, and yet our commitment to quality and value remains.”
Buyers and trade media are invited to a sneak preview of the showroom on Friday, April 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.
