Las Vegas Market Creates The Pavilions for Temporary Exhibitors

Las Vegas Market will reposition its temporary exhibit space for the summer market.
The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market will feature more than 90,000 square feet of gift and home décor resources organized in four categories. The categories will be Design, Handmade, Home and Gift and Discoveries—The Antique Vintage Marketplace.
“This is the next big thing for Las Vegas Market, the first U.S. market to present temporary exhibits alongside permanent showrooms but in a dedicated and purpose-built tradeshow venue,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor for the International Market Centers. “This gives temporary exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their lines in a dramatic and easy to shop space, further strengthening and reinforcing Las Vegas Market’s position as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”
The introduction of this expanded presentation of temporary exhibits is a key component in the third and final phase of Las Vegas Market’s strategic plan, which includes the creation of two new showroom floors in Building C—C5 for boutique home décor, textiles and accessories, and C11, for gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food—and the relocation of temporary exhibits from those floors to this dedicated, free-standing.
Beyond traditional gift and home décor exhibitors, The Pavilions will showcase expanded handmade and design collections focusing on innovative resources new to the Market. This Summer also marks the debut of “Discoveries: The Antique Vintage Marketplace,” a new temporary resource for immediate delivery, one-of-a-kind vintage, antique and found objects specifically created for retailers and designers seeking unique resources. Presented in 20,000 square feet of exhibit space, Discoveries is expected to draw increasing numbers of buyers from museum stores, galleries and better gift shops to Las Vegas Market.
