“I am honored to be the spokesperson for the 2015 Canadian Furniture Show,” she said. “I’ve attended this show for years, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to see so many great furniture pieces from Canada and abroad, all under one roof. The Show has such a great cross-section of styles that I’m able to source the perfect item for each of my distinctive clients. I’m sure consumers will really enjoy this unique event.”
Sealy is a regular design expert on the Canadian television show “Cityline”, and host and designer of “Summer Home” (season 1) on HGTV. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Elle Décor, Style at Home and major Canadian newspapers. Sealy Design Inc. won the Best of Houzz Awards for 2013, 2014 and 2015 in the Design and Customer Satisfaction categories.
The Market, previously known as the Canadian Home Furnishings Market, is produced by the Quebec Furniture Manufacturers’ Association. This year, the show, held in Ontario at the International Centre, is undergoing a transformation.
“We are delighted to welcome Karen to the team for the 2015 Canadian Furniture Show,” said Pierre Richard, president and CEO of the event. “Her trademark enthusiasm and her passion for design make her a perfect fit for the Show. Karen, who’s familiar with the Show, will radiate her wonderful energy and inspire consumers to visit us and meet her.”
