6 Las Vegas Exhibitors Honored with Booth Awards

Six Las Vegas Market exhibitors have been recognized with Best Booth awards at this week’s event.

Bison Book Binding, Cozy Nomad Designs, Dogberry Collections, Joybird Furniture, Karma Living and Vital Inds. each received the honors.

“Las Vegas Market recognizes and congratulates the visual merchandising efforts of these six exhibitors, each of which is leading industry display and design innovation,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift & home décor for International Market Centers.  “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market supports quality and distinctiveness in both temporary exhibits and permanent showroom presentations.”

The Best Booth awards were judged by Jaime Derringer, founder and executive editor of Design Milk; and Janette Crawford, head of expansion San Francisco at Homepolish, and founder and stylist at Sun + Dotter. Criteria included overall visual appearance of the space; creative merchandising; cohesive brand messaging; and the overall personality and attitude of the booth.

Winning temporary booths on floor B2 included Utah-based Dogberry Collections, a supplier of colorful and contemporary furniture hand-crafted from reclaimed wood; and Joybird Furniture, a Los Angeles-based manufacturer known for its stylish mid-century modern pieces inspired by the ‘50s and ‘60s.

Exhibitors honored on floor C5 included Cozy Nomad Designs, a Los Angeles provider of one-of-a-kind handmade throws, pillows and accent furniture; and Karma Living, a New Jersey supplier of unique textiles and home décor.

Temporary booths lauded on floor C11 included Bison Book Binding, a Bellingham, Wash.-based supplier of fine letterpress paper goods, including greeting cards, stationery and blank books, and Denver-based Vital Industries, a supplier of bicycle-themed glassware, clothing, and accessories.
