Next Gen NOW Sets Las Vegas Market Events

The lunch will give members the opportunity to share a one-on-one working time with seasoned professionals in select showrooms during which they’ll learn best practices, expand upon their knowledge of the industry and/or a specific segment of the industry, and make connections that will help them in their pursuit of progressing the home furnishings trade.

Industry leaders participating in the lunch include Jerry Baer, Baer’s Furniture; Asha Chaudhary, Jaipur Rugs; and Rick Coppola, Ashley Furniture. 

The Lunch with Leaders is set for Monday, Jan. 19.

“Our Next Gen NOW Lunch and Learn program continues to grow and we couldn’t be happier,” said Sharron Bradley, CEO of the North American Home Furnishings Association. “The Next Gen members who participate always remark about how much they learn, but the leaders too have told us they walk away with new inspiration.”

The organization will also host its traditional market social Sunday evening in the Retail Resource Center B-1050 from 5-7 p.m.

Games, music, networking and signature cocktails sponsored by Coaster Fine Furniture. 

Sunday morning, the group is hosting a seminar on family business success. Set for 9-10 a.m. in the RRC, Mark Green of Family Business Consulting will share five keys to a running a successful family business.
