Vaughan Furniture to Close

Privately held case goods supplier Vaughan Furniture Co. will shutter its operations in the next few months citing weak sales.
A 91-year-old Galax, Va., furniture company will close its doors soon, putting two dozen employees in Virginia, North Carolina and Nevada out of work.
Vaughan Furniture Co., a wholesale business with deep roots in the city, announced Tuesday in a memo to employees that it will cease operations in the months to come.
