New Transportation Options for Dallas Market-Goers

With the recent additions of several new Dallas transportation options including added flights and public transportation, traveling to Dallas Market Center is easier, faster, and more affordable than before.
The recent lift of the Wright Amendment resulted in Southwest Airlines adding 15 nonstop destinations to Love Field Airport from both coasts, while Virgin America also added gates at Love Field, allowing attendees additional options to travel to Dallas.
Hotel bookings for January Markets in Dallas have increased by nearly 20 percent, and buyers and exhibitors can find affordable accommodations with exclusive discounts and Market specials through its full-time travel agency, Market Travel. In addition to low airfares and deeply negotiated rates for hotels, Market Travel offers discounts on accommodations, car rentals, and ground transportation to and from both Dallas/Fort Worth International and Love Field airports.
Once attendees have arrived in Dallas, traveling to Market is easier with the recent addition of DART’s (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) Orange Line traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport to the back door of the Market Center. This allows visitors the opportunity to reach the Dallas Market Center in just 43 minutes for $2.50. The Market Center Station is connected to the campus through a pedestrian bridge and is a short, 10-minute walk.
Dallas Market Center also provides shuttle service every day during market between buildings on the DMC campus and select hotels. For those opting to drive, Dallas Market Center offers more than 7,000 free parking spaces on campus.
Market attendees can book their travel by contacting Market Travel at 214.744.7444 or markettravel@mcmcmail.com.
