Design Experts Sabados and Hyndman to Appear at Toronto Market

Their appearance will be presented during the Market's consumer day, Sunday, June 7, at 1 p.m.
Sabados and Hyndman joined forces in 1992 to share their fresh, fun take on all things beautiful for the home. Introduced to North America via HGTV, the duo soon became a favourite design team, with three different programs viewed in more than 80 countries. Their success and devoted fan base came to the attention of the CBC, resulting in the acclaimed daytime program "Steven and Chris." For one hour every weekday they engage in lively discussion and share the latest style solutions for everyday living. Now syndicated in the U.S. market, this team has gained an audience spanning generations.
"We applaud the Quebec Furniture Manufacturers' Association in adding a day for consumers to the Canadian Furniture Show, so that the public will be able to view the furniture lines created by the many talented Canadian designers," the duo said in a release. "We are really excited to be part of this great event."

"Previously known as The Canadian Home Furnishings Market or TCHFM, the Show has essentially been a trade show for over 40 years. The 2015 edition will present several new features, including the addition of a Consumer Day, on Sunday, June 7. We are honoured that the crowning event of that day will be a rare conference by Steven and Chris, which will add glamour to our event and will no doubt draw the crowds."
The Canadian Furniture Show has been held since 1972 and is produced by the Quebec Furniture Manufacturers Association. The only national furniture show in the country and the seventh largest trade show in Canada, it brings together industry professionals, manufacturers, retailers, designers, and others, from Canada, the United States and all over the world, to display their latest collections and trends. The 2015 Show will be held from June 4-7, at The International Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario, and will feature more than 300 exhibitors, including 50 Canadian furniture manufacturers, and welcome some 7,000 trade visitors.
