Holiday House NYC Sets ASID, Student Day

The Holiday House NYC will hold its American Society of Interior Designers and student day Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The day will be filled with special events and seminars, including a presentation by Charlotte Cosby of Farrow & Ball on “The Power of Color. Cosby’s presentation starts at 11 a.m.

A designer panel, featuring Ally Coulter, Michael Tavano, Gary McBournie and Robin Baron, is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Authors’ Night from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. will feature a number of celebrity designers on hand to sign copies of their latest books. Notables include Mario Buatta, Robert Couturier, Alexa Hampton and Gary McBournie.

The Holiday House is located at the Academy Mansion at 2 East 63rd St., New York City. Admission for ASID members is $25, non-members $35 and $15 for students.

Founded seven years ago, the Holiday House Design Show raises money for cancer awareness in the design industry. Since its inception, Holiday House has featured top interior designers in the industry, received critical acclaim, been endorsed by some of the global luxury brands, and expanded to a summer showhouse in the Hamptons. Holiday House is about the celebration of life, with each designer selecting a holiday or a special moment in life as an inspiration for their design.
