Las Vegas Adds 11 Furniture Exhibitors

Las Vegas Furniture Market has added 11 new exhibitors, renewed 20 tenants, and has four expansions among its furniture vendors for the Jan. 18-22 show.

The additions in furniture impact roughly 220,000 square feet of showroom space.

“We are seeing continued momentum and upward progress across the board in the furniture category," says Craig Staack, vice president of home furnishings leasing for International Market Centers. “New and existing tenants continue to see the value in being part of the only major home furnishings market in the West. The cross-category nature of our market continues to attract more and more buyers from all channels because we provide a platform to buy across all categories for the home and even gift if that is part of their assortment mix.” 

Newcomers include:
* Alder and Tweed (B-158 in 2,090 square feet)
Genuine leather dining and occasional chairs. Pieces are made of solid wood with corner-blocked chair frames for integrity and stability as well as high-density/fire retardant foam to maintain comfort and shape. 
* Argo Furniture (B-728; 3,520 square feet)
Established in 1981, Hong Kong-based Dickson Furniture manufactures a full line of furniture distributed under the Argo name throughout the United States. The company offers quality modern sofas, chairs, bedroom furniture and accent pieces in a variety of fabrics and finishes.
* Baxton Studio/Wholesale Interiors (B-728; 4,271 square feet)
Wholesale Interiors Inc., began offering furniture online in the year 2002. The company is an Internet hybrid, controlling furniture design and production, and selling it nationwide through its website and Chicago, IL warehouse and showroom. The line includes home furnishings as well as pieces for hotels, restaurants and office environments. 
* Cosmos (A-946; 10,097 square feet)
Cosmos Furniture caters to the fine furniture market with a design collection that appeals to a variety of tastes and architectural styles.
* Donco Trading Company (A-930; 3,749 square feet)
Donco Trading is a  family-owned and operated furniture business. Specializing in youth furniture, the company carries a large selection of bunk beds, stairway bunk beds, captain’s beds, trundle beds, day beds and platform beds. In addition, Donco Trading offers contemporary furniture designs, futons, specialty sleep products, metal bed frames, waterbed accessories and more.
* Furinno (B-1022; 2,370 square feet)
Furinno, founded by young entrepreneurs as a joint venture in 2010, brings their ‘furniture innovation’ concept to the industry. The company is spearheading a new trend of eco-friendly RTA (Ready-To-Assemble) modern furniture with a focus on pieces that meet modern space and budget requirements.
* Kuka (B-770; 8,215 square feet)
Kuka manufactures the latest European-designed contemporary and functional leather, fabric sofas and lounge suites. The company offers more than 50 leather and fabric choices available, as well as a variety of design options and styles.
* Soft-Tex (C-1572; 1,879 square feet)
Soft-Tex manufactures a wide variety of sleep products for every lifestyle. From fiber and feather-filled basic bedding products, to an extended assortment of memory foam pillows, toppers and mattresses, the company is recognized for its quality, style and performance.  
* Springtime Bedding (C-1583; 1,587 square feet)
Based in South Hackensack, New Jersey, Springtime grew from a small, 3,000 square-foot manufacturing plant into a large, state-of-the-art facility encompassing 75,000 square feet. The company produces a full line of high-quality mattresses using the latest technology for fibers, high-density foam and spring units.
* Xsensor (C-1579; 1,588 square feet)
Xsensor provides meaningful technology solutions designed to enhance sleep, patient safety and automotive testing. The company’s combination of sensors, software and electronics delivers practical, real-world results in one complete package. An internationally-recognized leader, Xsensor’s products used in over 40 countries by organizations such as NASA, U.S. Air Force, GM, Ford, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, CISCO Systems, Kraft Foods, Sealy, Kingsdown, Select Comfort and the Mayo Clinic.
* Zhulian Industrial Company (B-954; 2,223 square feet)
Zhulian Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 2002 and is a leading manufacturer of latex foam components for the bedding industry in China. The company manufactures latex mattress cores, latex pillows and latex toppers, which are exported all over the world. 

Furniture exhibitor expansions include the following:  
* Flexsteel (A-530), adding 6,168 square feet, for a total of 35,898 showroom space.
* Palliser (B-1001), more than doubling space to 15,694 square feet.
* Cheers Man-Wah (B-600), adding nearly 5,000 square feet of showroom space for a total of 20,381 square feet.
* Softide (B-962) purchased Ergomotion, formerly in Building A (A-938), and relocated to a larger showroom for a combined square footage of 5,680 square feet.
