AmericasMart Continues Upgrades for January Markets

The AmericasMart in Atlanta is gearing up for its slate of January markets with enhancements to its 7.1 million-square-foot campus.

The centerpiece of the Home & Design collection on floor 15 in Building 1 will be the new Designer Workspace created to accommodate the on-site client consultation need of designers at Market and in daily non-Market attendance.

The workspace boasts 6,000 square foot where designers can review product specifications sourced from exhibitors, develop working design sketches and study product details. The January 2015 opening of the floor 15 Home & Design collection expands the Market’s home furnishings product mix through the addition of more than 100,000 square feet of space created for design-led furniture, lighting and home accents.

A new floor 6 bridge between the home and rug collection in Building 1 and the gift collection in Building 2 completes another path through the three AmericasMart buildings. An update to the elevator lobby on floor 6 complements the bridge.

A new café on the 14th floor of Building 2 will allow buyers to stay in the building during Market breaks. The café is open daily for breakfast and lunch during the Market.

The January 2015 Markets set the launch of new lead retrieval services. Offered to permanent and temporary exhibitors, the devices offer quick badge scanning, easy lead qualifying and note taking, and organized follow up.

AmericasMart continues to update the AmericasMart app, launched earlier this year. The app offers an enhanced customer experience by making it easier for buyers to discover and explore new and existing exhibitors, categories, lines and products and to make note of Market events and promotions. Available on iTunes and Google Play, the app allows buyers to browse exhibitors by floor map or in a list, and enables them to record favorite lines and categories, and to plan, organize and manage Market details.
