High Point Market Authority Recognizes Outgoing Board Members

Completing their board term at the end of 2014 are: Jena Hall, president, Jena Hall Designs Ltd.; Tom Mitchell, president of home furnishings leasing, International Market Centers; Joe Mussallem, president, Man Wah USA; Kevin O’Connor, president and CEO, Samson Marketing; Mena Parrish, chairperson of the High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau; Mark Phillips, CEO, The Phillips Collection(phillipscollection.com); Tim Schelfe, director of interior design, JDavis Architects; and Bernita Sims, former mayor of the City of High Point.

“We are thankful for the years of guidance and wise counsel these members of our board have provided us," said Market Authority Chairman Doug Bassett, president of Vaughan-Bassett. "They will be missed, but we have a great incoming group that will be able to pick up right where they left off.”

Outgoing board members were presented with plaques at the board meeting at the String and Splinter.
