Next Gen Now Sets "Lunch with Leaders" Slate

Home furnishings networking group Next Generation Now has three longtime industry pros lined up for its "Lunch with Leaders" program at this month's High Point Furniture Market.

Lee Goodman is CEO and president of Jerome’s Furniture in San Diego. A fourth-generation furniture retailer, Goodman led the expansion of Jerome's into other California markets and is a fast-track leadership expert. He will be available noon-1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19. The location will be announced.

Kim Shaver is principal of Kim Darden Shaver Communications, Greensboro, N.C. A veteran marketing and communications professional, she helped pioneer the understanding of the modern furniture shopper and how to reach her; directed brand, corporate and national advertising campaigns; and understands social media and public relations. She will be available 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Marge Carson showroom, 121 N. Hamilton St.

Kim Yost, CEO of Art Van Furniture, Warren, Mi., coaches enthusiasm that leads to record sales. An experienced marketing, operations and management executive, he also is the author of several motivational management books. He will be available 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 19, in the H.M. Richards Showroom, Market on Green 205/206.
