Arteriors Has 3rd Collection with Designer Barry Dixon
October 3,
2014 by in High Point, Market
This collection is a fusion of Dixon’s personally curated collection of antiques and found objects, nature-inspired pieces with organic and sculptural elements as well as permutations of best-selling pieces from previous collections with Arteriors.
The 21 piece assortment of furniture, mirrors and accessories features an eclectic mixture of metal finishes and mediums including burnished and polished brass and mixed gold tones. Inspiration was found in the world of flora and fauna as seen in the Boiserie Bench, Grotto side table and the Willow chair. Other pieces such as the Copernicus Armillary are influenced by one of a kind objects found in Dixon’s global travels.
“Barry’s originality and unique aesthetic adds a refreshing yet elegant perspective to the Arteriors brand each season,” said Arteriors Founder and Creative Director Mark Moussa. “In many ways, this collection is an evolution from our first endeavor. We’re delighted our partnership with Barry has continued to change and mature.”
“These new pieces, with their couture abstractions and unique concepts, will be by far my favorite yet," Dixon said.
Arteriors, Dallas, Texas, will debut the collection in its showroom at the International Home Furnishings Center H-320 during High Point Market. The Barry Dixon Collection also will be available to order on arteriorshome.com beginning Oct. 17.
