Latex Int'l Back at Full Speed

With its Shelton, Conn., facility back in full production after fires disrupted operations at the end of June, foam mattress and pillow manufacturer Latex International reported it has closed the third quarter with strong sales and caught up on all back orders received before and immediately following the fires.

“Following several months of hard work from employees at all levels – including factory workers, administrative staff and management – we are pleased to say that we are back at full production. The numbers from the quarter show us that business is fully back on track,” said Latex International President and CEO David Fisher.

“We are grateful to our customers who all worked with us during this process. It was heartwarming to see their level of commitment to our products and afford us the opportunity to get back on track in the appropriate way. We are caught up on all our back orders and as our OEM partners start designing product for the upcoming January Las Vegas Market, we will be right there to help them create incredible mattresses with incredible feels,” Fisher said.

Latex International manufactures latex in Shelton, Conn., and manages more than 10 distribution and fabrication centers throughout the world.
