Tobi Fairley, CR Laine to Collaborate

The effort will include an upholstery collection--Tobi Fairley for CR Laine--that will debut in April 2015; Tobi Fairley’s interior design work in the CR Laine showroom, particularly in the new bistro area to debut at the October 2015 High Point Market; CR Laine’s products as signature offerings in Tobi Fairley’s Inbox Interiors; Little Rock, Ark.-based Tobi Fairley & Associates consulting with CR Laine on marketing and PR initiatives; and more.

“We are regularly approached with licensing proposals," said Warren Frye, president of CR Laine, Hickory, N.C. "But Tobi Fairley and her team came to us with a very different collaborative idea; one that goes beyond product design to provide additional value to CR Laine retail and design partners. We have similar brand values, but we each bring different strengths to the table. We are looking forward to a long and successful collaboration with Tobi and her company.”

CR Laine will celebrate the new collaboration with Tobi Fairley during the upcoming High Point Market with a social event on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 4 p.m. in its newly expanded showroom located on the second floor of 310 North Hamilton. The event will take place in the new CR Laine bistro, designed by Tobi Fairley, featuring striking black walls and CR Laine upholstery.
