Li succeeds Ian Sears who was named president of the company in 2011. Li joined Ralph Lauren Home in August 2010, and has been building the business globally as the senior vice president of the brand.
“Li’s strong leadership skills, in-depth understanding of the home market and the company, and his well-established partnerships internally and externally will position him well in this new role,” the company said.
Prior to joining Ralph Lauren Home, Li was with publishing house Conde Nast, where he was publisher and associate publisher for a number of the company's titles.
Sears' last day with the company will be Oct. 10 after which he will relocate to the West Coast "to renew his professional opportunities," according to the company.
