Marge Carson Opens Designer Showroom in Dallas

marge carson showroomLuxury furnishings brand Marge Carson has opened a designer showroom in the Dallas Design Center.

The 7,200-square-foot, two-level showroom presents a broad array of Marge Carson's upscale upholstery, bedroom, dining and living room furniture to the interior design trade.

Dennis Teague, a seventh-generation Texan and veteran of the furniture retail and interior design industry in the Dallas area, is showroom manager.

The Marge Carson Dallas Showroom, 1025 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 280, is in the Dallas Design District, a center of art, culture, design and fine dining.

“We’re very excited to bring Marge Carson to the Dallas design community through a showroom that fully expresses our brand and showcases both our well-known Old World European traditional styles along with many fresh, updated transitional designs in fully furnished and accessorized vignettes,” said Will Sharp, president of Pomona, Calif.-based Marge Carson Inc.

The new Dallas showroom is now one of two company-owned Marge Carson showrooms in the country. The company also owns the Marge Carson Los Angeles Showroom at 920 N. La Cienega Blvd. in the La Cienega Design Quarter, which it opened a few years ago.

“We think Dallas and Marge Carson are a great fit and that it’s exciting for Texas to have a showroom that exclusively and comprehensively showcases the Marge Carson brand,” Teague said. “Our investment says a lot about the vitality of the Dallas Design Community.”

In addition to the complete line of Marge Carson furniture and the brand’s unique, globally sourced custom fabrics and trims, the showroom offers high-end lighting, art, decorative accessories and rugs immediately available for purchase.

Like the Los Angeles showroom, the Dallas showroom displays over 50 finishes and hundreds of fabric and leather options. A winding staircase leads to an upstairs fabric room with hanging fabric samples and gathering tables.

“With our highly trained, capable and dedicated staff and the inspiring environment, our hope is that the Marge Carson Dallas Showroom makes it easy for designers to accomplish their mission of creating beautiful homes for their clients,” Sharp said.
