SC Development Earns LEED Gold

Hughes Development Corporation, developers of the One in downtown Greenville, S.C., have announced that One has received its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification from the United States Green Building Council.
That gives Greenville the distinction of being home to the largest gold certified building in South Carolina.
Also announced was the addition of the family-owned major retailer Orvis to the One development. It will be located in the 5,000-square-foot corner at the intersection of Washington Street and One City Plaza beside Tupelo Honey Café and a new parking garage which will be underneath an Aloft Hotel.
