Gabriel Scott Plans New York Showroom

Gabriel Scott will open its flagship showroom in New York in October 2014.

Located in the Brewster Carriage House at 372 Broome Street, the showroom will offer a fresh perspective with a collection of furniture and lighting.

Established in Montreal by two architects and brothers, Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler, Gabriel Scott offers a new perspective to the U.S. design market. With backgrounds in architecture, industrial design and fashion design, the duo has a bank of creativity and style to add to their work.

In two years, the firm has built its client list from across the U.S. and the U.K. Now, with New York being a preeminent destination for art and design, it is a natural step to open the flagship location.

“Gabriel and I have been working together for more than a decade creating custom pieces and designing contemporary spaces for a wide range of clients,” Richler said. “Today, Gabriel Scott gives us a new platform for creative expression with no parameters. We are thrilled to make New York, and the Broome and Mott neighborhood, our new home, and making our designs accessible to an global array of industry professionals and design enthusiasts.”

A grand opening event will take place this October, officially introducing the showroom to the New York design community.
