Pride Family Brands Hosts Marketing Summit

Outdoor furniture supplier Pride Family Brands recently wrapped up a two-day sales and marketing summit in Chicago for its sales representatives.

The meeting opened with a presentation by Emily Carter, president of Dale Carnegie Training, called “Selling with Pride.” On the second day, attendees took part in sessions within the company's showroom in the Merchandise Mart where they reviewed six new 2015 collections, production overviews, showroom tours and marketing activities.

“We believe strongly in the personal and professional development of those working on the front lines representing Pride Family Brands and that is why we have invested in bringing our entire team together each year for a multi-purpose function,” said Steve Lowsky, president of Pride Family Brands. “To add to the benefits realized, this year we chose to invite Emily Carter to present a Dale Carnegie course geared to our company and topics and practices relevant to our team. The experience was well received and added to the overall value of the gathering as we head into the 2015 season.”

On the second day of the gathering, presentations by corporate personnel as well as the executive team were given. Discussions included the company’s ongoing efforts in casual furnishings innovation and its investment in collections and categories to provide a thorough product offering.
