Kennedy's Palm Beach White House For Sale

For a mere $38.5 million, you can own a piece of Kennedy family history in Palm Beach, Fla.
Sometimes referred to as John F. Kennedy's Palm Beach White House, the 15,000-square-foot, oceanfront home has been renovated and is back on the market. As a child, Kennedy vacationed in the home with his family. As an adult and newly elected president, Kennedy spent a great deal of time in the house. It is where he wrote his inaugural speech, selected his cabinet personnel and spent his last weekend with his family before his assassination in 1963 in Dallas.
The Kennedy family sold the house in 1995 to chairman of a New York investment firm for $4.92 million. John Castle, the buyer, spent $6 million repairing the home over a two-year period.
The home features 11 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, tennis court, swimming pool and a four-car garage.
