Home Decor Keeps Growing at Vegas Market

More than a dozen new high profile vendors of better home décor will open or expand showrooms for the July 21-31 Las Vegas Furniture Market.

New suppliers debuting showrooms on the fourth floor of Building C this summer include Bungalow 5, a New York City-based group of architects and designers who design and produce unique and stylish home furnishings and accessories, opening a 3,017-square-foot showroom; and Outpost Original, a Canadian importer of fine African handcrafted furniture, pillows, throws, carpets, hides, lamps and accessories, opening a 600-square-foot showroom. In addition to these newcomers, Lowcountry Originals will relocate to a new space on C4 and expand its size by 500 square feet, bringing its total showroom space to 1,666 square feet.

Two additional home décor suppliers also are expanding existing showrooms on C4. The Bramble Company, supplier of intricately designed and handcrafted wood furniture, is adding 1,642 square feet to bring its total showroom space to 8,058 square feet; and Moe’s Home Collection, a supplier of furniture, accessories and home décor from across the globe, is adding 1,641 square feet to bring its total showroom size to 8,284 square feet. Global Views, a wholesaler of unique accessories and home décor, is expanding its showroom on the first floor of Building A by 2,748 square feet, bringing its total space to 13,461 square feet.

Building C’s seventh floor also is seeing an influx of new better home décor resources for the summer market.  Four newcomers for July are Artissimo, which designs and manufactures ready-to-hang wall décor, opening a 2,543-square-foot showroom; Park Hill Collection, a leading supplier of gifts, home décor and vintage reproductions, debuting a 6,597-square-foot location; and Steven Shell, a supplier of internationally inspired eclectic furniture and accessories, opening a 4,774-square-foot showroom. In addition, Port to Port Import/Export, a supplier of global home furnishings and accessories is relocating from World Market Center’s Building A to a new 2,760-square-foot showroom on C7.

Four other home décor suppliers also are opening new showrooms on the fourth floor of Building B for the July Market: Atlanta-based Amer Rugs, a leading producer of handmade carpets and rugs, is opening a 2,080-square-foot showroom; Dallas-based Jene's Collection, an importer of handcrafted and hand-finished screens, wall décor, accent furniture, lighting, tapestries, planters and decorative accessories, is debuting a 1,920-square-foot location; previously announced Kalaty Rugs, a fourth-generation, family-owned supplier of fine hand-crafted area rugs and accessories, will open a 3,779-square-foot showroom; and Donny Osmond Home, a licensing brand launched by the famed entertainer with manufacturing partners that offer a variety of home décor including lighting, accent furniture, floor coverings, decorative accessories and more, is opening an 1,896-square-foot corporate showroom. Donny Osmond Home licensees at Las Vegas Market include A & B Home, also located on B4, Kas Rugs, located on B1, and Bougainvillea, located on B3.

“Las Vegas Market continues to experience dramatic expansion in better home décor resources as part of our overall strategic growth plan, and the C4 showcase of fine home décor and textiles resources is nearly 100% leased,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “The latest additions of new resources and expansions by existing tenants further reinforce Las Vegas Market’s position as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”

Las Vegas Market has experienced dramatic growth in the gift and home décor product categories since 2013, with 550,000 square feet of expanded showrooms across all three buildings as well as the addition of new resources and categories, such as specialty tabletop, lifestyle merchandise, fashion accessories and artisanal crafts.
