Winston-Salem Approves United Furniture Incentives

The Winston-Salem, N.C., City Council has approved $150,000 in performance-based economic incentives for upholstered furniture manufacturer United Furniture Inds.
The Winston-Salem City Council approved economic incentives this week for a furniture manufacturer wanting to move into the historic Weeks textile plant, and the Forsyth County commissioners plan to consider incentives next month.
The city approved $150,000 in performance-based incentives for United Furniture Industries on Monday.
