Kalaty To Open 2 Showrooms

The latter will open in time for the summer Las Vegas Furniture Market.

Since 1979, Kalaty has maintained a New York City showroom presence, most recently at 7 West 34th. With that building transitioning from showroom to mostly office use, Kalaty decided to move its New York-area showroom out of the city and to its nearby Long Island headquarters. 

“We have kept a showroom presence in New York City for more than 35 years,” said Ramin Kalaty, a spokesperson for Kalaty. “However, now that we are opening the Las Vegas showroom and increasing the number of major furniture and rug shows we participate in each year from four to six, it makes good sense for us on all fronts to move our New York-area showroom from the city to our Long Island headquarters.”

The Long Island showroom, a short train or cab ride from New York City and its airports, is open to the trade only and features all Kalaty rug collections as well as one-of-a-kind rugs.

The new Las Vegas showroom, located in Building B, Space B-0455 & B-0449, will showcase the company’s vast product line as well as a full complement of catalogs, marketing materials plus dealer merchandise display and sample racks.

“We feel that being in Las Vegas will help us build and maintain a bigger and better West Coast presence," said Farshad Kalaty. "This show and showroom are definitely a positive move for us.”
 
Kalaty showroom locations now include Hicksville, Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas.
