From Home Furnishing Business

Interhall Adds 5 New Exhibitors

Interhall, the International Home Furnishings Center's space for fashion forward furniture and accessories, will feature five new exhibitors at the April 5-10 High Point Furniture Market.

Among 70 trendsetting lines in Interhall on the first floor of IHFC, new exhibitors include:

* B. Pila (IH112)
Furnishings by B. Pila Design Studio intertwine beauty with clever functions that accommodate today's multipurpose/multi-tasking lifestyles. The firm's most recent collection, Hide & Seek, uses luxe materials such as acrylic, hair-on-hide and polished hardware, as well as unique and local craftsmanship and approach to design. B. Pila's customizable options allow clientele to adapt these pieces in a way that supports their own story. Hide & Seek includes occasional seating, tables, rugs, and statement accessories.
* HGTV Home (IH402)
HGTV Home has partnered with prominent brands to curate beautiful collections across an array of product categories, including baby furniture, fabric and trim, furniture, flooring,
indoor and outdoor lighting, outdoor living, paint and wallpaper, plants, mattresses and sleep accessories. With collections in both the Fresh Modern and Fresh Classic aesthetics, HGTV Home draws inspiration from traditional design and empowering the designer in everyone to create rooms that make a house a home.
* Ion Design (IH202)
Ion Design's latest example of creating goods for customers' vision of their individual style is a vintage-inspired collection in a classically modern look with a unique twist: a slightly marbled look, owing to gorgeous variations of color and thickness inherent in the solid American black walnut construction. Tapered, angled legs provide graceful form and rock-solid stability.
* Lisa Jarvis (IH200)
The Lisa Jarvis home furnishings collection, made entirely in the United States, reflects clean lines, comfort and elegance with a twist. Now entering her third year, Jarvis' work has been featured in Elle Decor, Real Simple and Luxe Magazine. Jarvis also has moved into furniture hardware with Lisa Jarvis Hardworks, featuring hand-cast, hand-crafted brass pulls and finials.
* Rosenbaum Fine Art/RFA Décor (IH305)
Howard and Marvin Rosenbaum opened Rosenbaum Fine Art to make a fashion-forward, high-style line of contemporary art available to better furniture stores, boutiques and design studios. With more than 50 artists working in a range of media and styles from transitional to contemporary, in original art, giclee prints and sculptures, Rosenbaum Fine Art/RFA Decor also provides framed mirrors and custom picture framing services.

"InterHall remains the most talked-about spot in High Point Market for its trendsetting companies and is usually the first place people see, and will be seen, at market," said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. "This featured destination is once again filled with numerous design-driven companies including several new resources, giving retailers and designers a fresh look at emerging trends and products to take back to their business."

Market attendees also are invited to Interhall for martinis on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday of market week, 4-6 p.m., to mix and mingle with fellow industry trendsetters.
