New Moon Rugs Honored by DOMOTEX

New Moon Rugs was recently named Best Modern Design Superior 2014 at DOMOTEX, the German trade fair for floor coverings.
Industry leaders chose the company's Peacock rug from 329 other international rug designs. The inspiration for this design is a contemporary mosaic tile motif in a blend of Tibetan wool, Chinese silk and allo (a natural nettle fiber). Bold and bright colors combine and overlap to mimic peacock feathers. The indigo blue field is offset with tones of green, gold, red, orange and teal.
"What is so great about these design aesthetics and techniques is that they're on trend, yet timeless," said Erika Kurtz, New Moon COO. "We have always been known for our quality, but it is important that our innovative designs are noted as well."
The win highlights the increase in the use of vibrant colors and textures in modern home décor.
