Chris Daughtry to Headline Stars Under the Stars in High Point

The two nights of entertainment begin Saturday, April 5, when basketball madness comes to Center Stage, located between Showplace and the Transportation Terminal at the IHFC. Big screens will host the the NCAA men's basketball semi-finals, and the evening also features a DJ, pool tables, Skee Ball, and sports bar-themed food and drinks.

And on Sunday, April 6, Daughtry will take Center Stage. Daughtry has scored four No. 1 hits, garnered four Grammy nominations, won four American Music Awards, sold more than 7.5 million albums, 17 million singles worldwide and has sold out concerts around the world. His self-titled debut was the fastest selling rock debut in Soundscan history; the follow up, "Leave This Town," marked the quintet’s second consecutive
No. 1 album; and his third album, "Break The Spell," was certified gold in 4 weeks of its release.

Daughtry's new single "Waiting For Superman" and new album, "Baptized," have received critical acclaim. The concert is sponsored by Surya Rugs.

Doors open for all events at 7 p.m. at Center Stage. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. for market-goers who have been issued a Buyer pass. Food and drinks are provided to all market-goers with a current Spring Market pass and photo ID. No one under the age of 15 will be admitted.
