NARI Names Design Firm Contractor of Year

The Ambler, Pa.-based design company takes honors in the $30,000 to $60,000 category. The awards showcase members who demonstrate outstanding work through remodeling projects.

Founded in 2003 by principal designer Pamela Kofsky, Elegant Interiors specializes in commercial and residential design. Kofsky partnered with contractor Tom Hawks of Total Home Solutions on the winning project. 

The project involved transforming a small, outdated bathroom into a larger one that included double sinks, a vanity tower, sitting area for makeup application, pocket shelves, larger shower, soaking tub and separate water closet.

"I am so thrilled to be recognized by such an elite organization," said Kofsky. "The prestigious Contractor of the Year (CotY) award is an honor to win as the interior designer for a bathroom renovation.  It is an excellent way to share with clients the impact an interior designer can have on any space in your home."

The awards will be presented March 28 in New Orleans.
