Peter Lang Joins Doyle New York

Peter Lang has been named senior vice president and director of important English and continental furniture and decorations for Doyle New York.
In his new position, Lang is in charge of auctions in that sale category and a senior appraiser for estates and collections.

Lang has been in the decorative arts field for almost 30 years. Prior to joining Doyle New York, he was director of the decorative arts department at Gurr Johns, an international art appraisal and art advisory firm. From 1988 to 2010, he worked at Sotheby’s, and he was the company's director of the English furniture department from 1999 until 2010.
