Auction Set for Furniture, Art from Lily Pulitzer Estate

Furniture, art and decorative objects from the estate of preppy fashion icon Lilly Pulitzer are up for auction in Florida Saturday. A preview is set for Friday.
Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in West Palm Beach will host the sale Feb. 22. The Miami Herald reports that highlights of the auction include Italian painted furniture, garden ornaments, ceramics and paintings by American artists. A preview opened Friday.
Pulitzer died at her Palm Beach home in April. She launched her fashion business in the 1950s by accident.
