Parker House Moves to Larger Las Vegas Showroom

Parker House Furniture is moving to an expanded 20,000-square-foot showroom for the Las Vegas Market.

The company is moving to space A1053, a showroom formerly occupied by Broyhill Furniture. Parker House's new showroom is twice the size of its previous location in A554.

"We needed a larger showroom so that we could showcase our expanded presentation of library walls, home entertainment, including a new collection of Parker House office chairs, and other recent motion introductions in our Parker Living upholstery line," said Chris Lupo, president and CFO. "Our sales have been increasing at a rapid rate, with a 100 percent increase in incoming orders in December and a 57 percent increase during the past quarter. Having this additional space will enable our customers to see a more complete representation of our growing line during market."

In 1946, Lupo's grandfather started an upholstery manufacturing company in Los Angeles. Lupo's father, John Lupo, went on to establish Parker House Mfg. in 1991, offering occasional tables, entertainment consoles and wall units, collectors' cabinets and home office furniture. The Parker Living division offers a complete selection of recliners, motion furniture, sectionals, and modular groupings.  All products are sourced from China with warehousing at Parker House Furniture's 200,000-square-foot facility in Chino, Calif.

During market, Parker House will offer customers an Italian lunch each day. "We're known for this," said Lupo. "It's become a tradition that our retailers really enjoy."
