Designer Seminar Series Set for DCOTA Winter Market

The center has a wealth of designers sharing their insight into the design world. Here's a look at some key presentations.
* Clodagh will present about her integrative approach to life-enhancing design encompassing all the senses and all elements and creating environments and products that provoke a feeling of well being.
Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. in Atrium C. Lunch will follow at the Florense Showroom, Suite B-112.
* Alexa Hampton will offer her take on her process of selecting details for elegant, classic homes with inviting living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens and other spaces.
Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. in Atrium C. Book signing and reception follow the presentation at Kravet, Suite B-180.
* Mario Buatta will discuss his first book celebrating his 50 years and coating of his career in interior design. Known for his English Country House style, the Prince of Chintz, shares insights from his book "Mario Buatta: Fifty Years of American Interior Decoration" that includes his
rooms for clients Henry Ford II, Barbara Walters, Malcolm Forbes, Mariah Carey, and the
Presidential guest quarters.
Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. in Atrium C. Cocktail reception to follow at Brunschwig & Fils, Suite C-150.
* Panel discussion with Barclay Butera and Thomas Paul, moderated by Drew Limsky. Butera and Paul will discuss how to bring high style into everyday living; from luxurious fabrics to impeccably designed accessories, everyone can immerse themselves in the beauty and elegance of today's world of design.
Thursday, Feb. 6 at 11:30 a.m. in Atrium B. Lunch to follow in the Duralee showroom, Suite C-100, followed by dessert, coffee and book signing at Kravet, Suite B-180.
