Gabby Has New Showrooms
January 20,
2014 by in High Point, Las Vegas, Market
Gabby, based in Montevallo, Ala., near Birmingham and with distribution centers in Los Angeles and Montevallo, designs transitional, antique-style, and eclectic furniture and lighting.
For the upcoming Las Vegas Market, Gabby recently signed a long term agreement to show in World Market Center-B316. Gabby has experienced growth in the eastern United States, and expects this investment in Las Vegas will enable the company to better serve its customers in the west out of the Los Angeles distribution center.
“We project both our Las Vegas showroom and Los Angeles distribution center will play a key role in growing our market presence in the western states," said Gabby President William White. "We strongly believe we have created a perfect storm of saleable products that will resonate with our customers, and change the way they think about home furnishings.”
“We are delighted that Gabby has joined Las Vegas Market’s roster of better home décor companies, adding to the breadth and depth of product available at this market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “Las Vegas Market continues to redefine the home décor market experience for both buyers and suppliers, attracting high-profile, as well as emerging, resources in both permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits.”
Gabby also has signed a long-term lease agreement to show at High Point Market in space 168 of the International Home Furnishings Center's Wrenn wing. W-168 is next to the Wrenn lobby, with street access under the IHFC Wrenn Street bridge. The company also will maintain its presence in Interhall, a short walk from the new location.
“We are thrilled we were able to find a permanent showroom for Gabby that accommodates their growing line of products,” said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers. “This showroom with an entrance right off the IHFC Wrenn lobby and additional street access will provide great visibility.”
“Even after three expansions at High Point Market, we felt the need to move to better showcase the entire product line rather than new products only," said Gabby National Sales Manager Don White. "The new 5,000-square-foot showroom will be a much more comfortable and brand-appropriate environment. This will allow our sales representatives to better serve their customers.”
