Seven new bedding-related vendors will exhibit in their own showrooms for the first time at the Jan. 26-30 Las Vegas Furniture Market.
The dedicated bedding presentation on floor C-15 of World Market Center Las Vegas, which made its debut at the January 2013 Market, is sold out this market for the first time. Anchored by Tempur-Pedic, C-15 features 125,000 square feet of bedding displays, including three new tenants.
Bedding sources exhibiting in their own showrooms for the first time at Las Vegas Market include:
* Blu Sleep Products (space B-960): High-tech pillows and mattress toppers featuring breathable latex memory foam and innovative Nature Collection foams.
* Dreams Sleep Products (space B-958): A new, complete line of sleep products being launched under the HGTV Home brand. Includes specialty and innerspring beds in middle to upper price points, crib mattresses and pet beds, flat and adjustable foundations, decorative bed frames and metal support systems, pillows, mattress toppers, pads and protectors.
* Easy-Rest (space A-849): Luxury memory foam mattresses, pillows and accessories, including leg spacers and mattress toppers. Easy-Rest mattress models feature CertiPUR-US certification; luxury, 5.3-pound density, open cell, pressure-sensitive memory foam; washable, anti-microbial, anti-dust mite covers; and non-skid bottoms.
* Gruppo Buoninfante USA (space C-1562): Fine, imported Italian mattresses featuring top-of-the-line quality and comfort. The company offers an extensive line, including innerspring models containing an advanced, biconical Bonnell spring system as well as innovative latex models.
* PranaSleep (space C1564): Manufacturer of latex foam rubber mattresses, foundations and pillows. PranaSleep sets are designed to create pure comfort and offer cradling, conforming support by keeping the spine in its natural position. Most models feature PranaSleep Performance Talalay latex, poured in the U.S. using an eco-friendly process. Outlast quilted models regulate the body's temperature by storing and releasing body heat as needed.
* Softide (space B-966): A China-based specialist in the design, development and manufacture of multifunctional adjustable beds tailored for homes and hotels. Founded in 2005, the company describes itself as the largest manufacturer of electric beds in China.
* Spaldin Natural Sleep (space C-1568): Line of advanced European-design mattresses featuring natural components certified by the Oeko-Tex 100 program to contain no harmful chemicals. Features include the use of premium European foams incorporating plant oil, natural yarn covers, water-based adhesives and Forest Stewardship Council-certified woods.
In addition, organic mattress specialist Natura has relocated to a new, expanded showroom in space C-1576. And Guardian Protection Products, whose line includes mattress protection solutions, is showing for the first time in space B-1050.
"The bedding component of the Las Vegas Market just keeps getting stronger," said Ryan Mahoney, director of leasing, about the additions. "Nine of the Top 10 U.S. bedding manufacturers show here, including Serta, Sealy and Simmons, along with dozens and dozens of other leading producers and sleep specialists. Las Vegas is where the industry comes to see the very latest bedding products, designs and technologies."
Along with C-15, bedding also has a major presence in buildings A (floors 5, 7 and 9) and B (floors 8, 9,11, 13 and 14).
"Because of the wide range of products we carry, as well as the 'critical mass' of sources that are here, the Las Vegas Market truly is a one-stop-shopping source for any sleep-related need," said Mahoney. "The category's continued growth results in more and more buyers coming to market."
