"Lunch with Leaders" will run 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., where Next Gen Now members will have the opportunity to share a one-on-one working lunch with seasoned professionals in select showrooms, during which they’ll learn best practices, expand upon their knowledge of the industry and/or a specific segment of the industry, and make connections that will help them in their pursuit of progressing the home furnishings trade.

Industry leaders include Kerry Lebensburger, president of sales, Ashley Furniture Industries; Bob Maricich, CEO, International Market Centers; Jeff Child, president, R.C. Willey; and Lorri Kelley, vice president of sales, Palliser. Members can choose a leader and reserve their spot at @ngnow.org or by e-mailing Cindi Williams

Members can finish out their day at the NGN Bash at the One-Six Club at 5 p.m., Building B, 16th floor. The event, sponsored by Coaster Fine Furniture(coasterfurniture.com), offers the perfect atmosphere to network with peers and enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and music with a live DJ.

“NAHFA has a strong commitment to the next generation of industry professionals,” said Sharron Bradley, NAHFA’s CEO. “These three events on Monday offer myriad opportunities for Next Gen Now members  to not only expand their knowledge and understanding of the industry, but to interact and build relationships with well-respected industry leaders and their peers.”

“We're a group of young professionals excited about the future of our industry and are so thankful for the support of the NAHFA and its members,” said Jordan Barrick, COO, Quality Furniture & Appliance, Mesquite, Texas.
