Buddy's Home Furnishings Opens Virginia Store

Buddy€™s Home Furnishings, a rent-to-own furniture, appliance and electronics store, has opened its first location in Virginia in Mt. Cross Plaza at 365 Lowes Drive in Danville.

The new 6,000-square-foot store had its grand opening from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with TV and cash giveaways, free food and a live broadcast with DJs from 102 Jamz, according to a company news release.

Furniture Store Owner Accused of Pulling Gun on Customer

The Daily Commercial of Leesburg reports that Todd Pomerleau, 32, of 409 Richy Road, Leesburg, was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and booked into the Lake County jail under $7,000 bond. According to an arrest affidavit, a customer on Friday came into Todd and Terrys, 3376 U.S. Highway 441, and complained about bed bugs
