Twin-Star Adds Space, Personnel to Its Corporate Office

By Home Furnishings Business in on December 23, 2008 Twin-Star is expanding into a new corporate office, more than doubling its work space. The supplier of electric fireplaces and media consoles credits increased sales for the investment.

"We are fortunate that in this tough economic climate, our sales continue to improve,” said Mark Asofsky, president and founder of Twin-Star. "Without question, the time is right for us to invest further in our growth. The expansion plans also include bringing on more personnel to boost progress and efficiency."

Asofsky said the new employees will specialize in design, consumer support and Web-based services.

The company attributes its momentum to its ClassicFlame fireplace division that has seen an uptick in business.

At the Fall High Point Market, Twin-Star doubled its Plaza Suites space to make room for its Tresanti media consoles.
