Aaron Rents to Help Out Firehouse

By Home Furnishings Business in on December 23, 2008 Aaron's will partner with the Atlanta Fire Foundation to deliver furniture and kitchen appliances to Fire Station 10 in Dekalb County on Tuesday, RTO Online reported.

The goods include a coffee table, two end tables, two recliners for the front office, a new television, three refrigerators, two new sofas, 12 lamps, 12 end tables, 12 new mattresses and two office desks.

"I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks," said Captain Greg Gray of Station 10. "As you are well aware, this is a difficult time for city employees. Here in Atlanta, the members of each station have relied on companies and individuals like Aaron's to purchase and/or donate furniture for the fire stations."

The gift is part of Aaron's Community Outreach Program (ACORP), a national program that's almost 10 years old.
