California La-Z-Boy Stores Opening in Chico, Redding

By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on November 2008 Jim Reego and Liz Reego, who own four La-Z-Boy stores in California, are scheduled to open new locations in Chico and Redding this Friday, according to a report in the Sacramento Business Journal.

The new stores are former La-Z-Boy stores that had been operated by McMahan’s Furniture, which decided to close all operations earlier this year.

In addition to the new stores, the report said the Reegos are thinking of expanding to Vacaville; relocating a store from Folsom to Rancho Cordova; and remodeling their store in Roseville.
