The New Norwalk Gets Ohio Tax Credit

By Home Furnishings Business in Upholstery on September 2008 Norwalk Custom Order Furniture, the company that emerged from Norwalk Furniture Co. after an investor group bought the manufacturer last week, has received a tax credit worth almost $719,000, the Plain Dealer (Cleveland) reported Monday.

Furniture company gets state tax credit to stay in Norwalk

The 55 percent, six-year state tax credit is for the 260 jobs the new Norwalk plans to keep in Huron County, Ohio.

The tax credit depends upon Norwalk remaining at its current 435,000-square-foot plant for 12 years.
